From the moment you pass through the gates of this celestial mountaintop community, a hush surrounds you - a quiet so complete only the cry of a red-tailed hawk circling far above or the gentle gurgle of clear mountain streams making their decent to the valley far below will remind you that you're still earth-bound. At every glance a breathtaking view greets you—bouldered bluffs, pastoral valleys, neighboring mountains, sparkling springs and the Canyon Ridge Golf Course.

The air, always 10 degrees cooler than the valley below, is refreshingly crisp and often aromatic, owing to one of the densest indigenous plant populations found anywhere on the planet. Tall hardwoods and ancient boulders create natural rooms throughout the landscape, giving you that sequestered sensation that you're at home even when you're outdoors.

So, if by some chance a care or two has followed you up the mountain, you'll find that they are soon carried away like leaves on a mountain stream.
